Voluntary Sector Cuts Website launched - 24 January 2011

Designed to map the effects of cuts to statutory funding, charities are invited to share their funding experiences with the public.

Voluntary Sector Cuts is a new collaborative project which maps intelligence about voluntary groups experiencing reductions in public sector funding.

Run by a group of civil society umbrella bodies, the website www.voluntarysectorcuts.org.uk has been set up to help to build a nationwide picture of how government spending cuts are taking a toll on the voluntary and community sector.

If you’re involved in a voluntary or community group, which has been told its statutory funding will be reduced, you can contribute by filling in the simple form at: www.voluntarysectorcuts.org.uk.
