Government Department Draft Structural Reform Plans - 22 July 2010

Central government departments have begun publishing draft structural reform plans, these should play a key part in making departments accountable for the implementation of the reforms set out in the coalition agreement.

As well as outlining the new priorities of each government deprtment, the draft plan also provides deadlines for the reforms set out in the agreement and can give an idea of any future funding streams.

All departments will be publishing draft structural reform plans over the coming month; the plans will be finalised after the spending review in the autumn and they will then become part of each department’s business plan and will be updated annually.
