Launch of National Compact Voice Network - Thursday 10 January 2008

Compact Voice has launched an online discussion forum for charities to share their experiences of contracting with government.

Compact Voice communicates the sector’s views on funding and consultation issues to government and the online forum will allow members to start and contribute to discussions. The network will work in a similar way to social networking sites such as Facebook, with user profiles and members inviting their peers to join.

Stefan Simanowitz, National Compact Voice Officer, said the organisation’s representations would be informed by the discussions: “it is a means of making sure we are having a dialogue with our members as widely as possible,” he said. “It is the equivalent of our local Compact Voice networks at a national level.”
