Third would sue a charity if injured - Wednesday 27th September 2006

One in three Britons would try to sue a charity if they hurt themselves at a charity event or on charity premises, says a YouGov survey.

The research, commissioned by insurance firm Royal & Sun Alliance, found that claims from members of the public who trip or fall over at charity events are costing charities an average of £13,000 per claim.
