The London Borough of Merton Council offers funding to local charities and organisations on an annual basis. The council usually awards small grants only. For more information, please visit the council's website where a list of additional funding opportunies is available as well.

Small Grant Funding

Merton Voluntary Service Council manage a small grants programme on behalf of Merton Council. Â Please email or call 020 8685 2277 for more information.

Early Years Fund

Funding is also given to voluntary organisations through the Merton Early Years and Child Care team. The following grant programmes are currently running:

  • Training bursaries to support achievement of qualifications in early years, childcare and playwork
  • Start-up, Sustainability and Inclusion Grants
  • Nursery Education Grants
  • Early Years and Childcare Inclusion Grants.

Art Development Fund
