Lincolnshire County Council have an overarching grant scheme entitled: Community Grant Aid.

Community Grant Aid

It has been designed to assist the aspirations of Voluntary and Community organisations, Parish and Town Councils and individuals. Grants are awarded twice a year and are designed to complement funding from other sources. The council distribute grants in 4 main areas:

  • Community Facilities (Capital funding) where grant funding of up to a maximum of £25,000 can be provided towards Village Halls, Community Buildings, Youth Facilities and Recreation Projects
  • Community Activities (Revenue funding) where grant funding of up to a maximum of £20,000 can be provided towards Arts, Heritage, Sports and Cultural projects as well as Community Radio Stations.
  • Rural gain that supports local projects that improve the access to services in the area
  • Community Wildlife that offers financial support to projects that encourage local community involvement with nature conservation projects and/or promote, improve and protect bio-diversity and/or promote access to and enjoyment of the countryside.

Big Society Fund

The Big Society Fund allows all 77 County Councillors within Lincolnshire to make awards of funding to a range of local groups and organisations. Funding is awarded by individual County Councillors at their discretion and will be for groups/organisations that will use the award to make a positive change in the local area and/or benefit the wider community.

This is a rolling grant scheme, applications can be made at any time of the year.
